ADDING
A LAYER OF
FIRE SAFETY
IntuGuard is a simple, two step intumescent fire protection system for upgrading fire separating elements on non-ferrous substrates. Sustainable and minimal waste, cost effective and minimally disruptive.
The Game Changer for Upgrading Fire Separations
Adding a layer of safety
With IntuGuard you don’t need to make your building unsafe to increase its fire safety, we apply our intumescent coating solution straight onto existing fire separating elements.
Optimal Performance
IntuGuard is comprised of high quality components guaranteeing optimal performance every time. Ease of on site application, non-toxic, and minimally disruptive.
Sustainable
IntuGuard provides a low VOC coating solution approved by the Environmental Build Council. The system is sustainable and minimal waste.
Fully Tested & Endorsed
IntuGuard is the only tested & endorsed passive fire coating solution (FRR 60/60/60) for upgrading fire-separating elements in the Australasian market.
IntuGuard is an intumescent coating system developed and tested to use in the upgrade of interior fire separating elements, particularly in high occupancy, live buildings where time is a major factor.
The system combines two environmentally friendly coatings into an extremely durable, anti-microbial solution with a 60 minute fire rating (FRR of 60/60/60).
IntuGuard is the result of a partnership between Tech Coatings and PaintPlus, based on the mutual values of both companies.

Live
Building
MINIMALLY DISRUPTIVE, WITH NO NOISE, DUST OR ODORS.
IntuGuard is safe to use while upgrading a live building.
No noise, no vibrations and low VOC allow for remediation to take place in a live building while neighbouring areas can be used as required to deliver care.
RECOMMENDED FOR :
Hospitals, Aged Care Facilities, Hotels, Schools
Restricted
Access
HIGHLY RESTRICTED ACCESS OR SPACE AREAS
IntuGuard can be sprayed onto existing fire separating elements, and with the option of spray, roller or brush application, this can be done in the tightest spaces or while suspended in a harness.
RECOMMENDED FOR :
Riser shafts, Elevator shafts, Ceiling spaces
Independent Third party Fire Tested
We test all our systems on local materials to AS1530.4:2014.

Christchurch Hospital
The hospital cannot be closed down for renovations. This leads to a heightened complexity when upgrading the building while it is needed to deliver care.
